Kyle B. has created a Revit MEP Wish List . There is not a lot of action on it yet, but I see one of my current favorites "Riser Diagrams" seems well represented. Take the first step in getting what you want from Revit MEP by.... ah asking for it.
I'll also add this link to my side bar. All of my sidebar links to Autodesk pages have been updated in consideration of Autodesk's web site reorganization. Take a minute and peruse Autodesk's slick new look.

IES Integration with Revit MEP
Last month Autodesk and IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) issued a press release announcing that they are "...working together to provide robust building performance analysis capabilities to the Revit platform through a work flow between Autodesk Revit Systems, Autodesk’s BIM design and documentation software for mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) engineering, and the IES software suite. "
This partnership will give Revit MEP the ability to perform "thermal analysis, load calculations, daylight assessment with LEED reporting and solar studies. "
I went to IES's home page and did a search for "Revit", Here is a peak including video's of what IES is doing.
Fasten your seat belts, I think the Revit MEP train is getting ready to depart the station.
