3 Gig Switch for Revit Projects

For using Revit on MEP projects the last 3 years it took until now to really bury Revit MEP with a project so massive that everything started to fall apart.

The first thing I did was break my model into three pieces, one electrical model, one mechanical and one telecommunications model. This helped quite a bit and wasn't all that painful to do. Today I enabled the 3 gig switch on PCs in the office working on this project. I could say a whole lot about it, but Autodesk says it better and I'm lazy.

Read about the 3 gig switch here.

AU 2009 Vote For Sessions

Autodesk needs your help to pick which sessions will be presented at Autodesk University 2009. Proposals for classes have been made and now it is time for the people to decide what makes the final cut. To make your voice heard, go here.

I might also mention that I did submit a proposal this year for implementing Revit MEP. If you attended one of my classes in the past, and enjoyed it, I would love to have your support this year. If you thought my previous classes sucked, please stop me from doing it again by voting for something else.
